POPF Holiday Mail program
Support a Family Fighting Pain This Holiday Season by Sending Words of Good Cheer! This year the Power of Pain Foundation is starting a new tradition… a Christmas card for the special pain patient or caregiver in your life. Do you know someone who feels like they are alone; well we want to give them a little joy and cheer. So, send us their address and we will get the joy of delivering holiday greetings to patients around the world. The cards and personal messages from you will be sent out on December 15th so they arrive just in time for Christmas. Thanks for providing a welcome “touch of love” for our pain community members during the holiday season. Each year we will also collect cards between October and early December and then distribute them through the mail, at hospitals, and in other pain management locations.
GOAL Is to advance research, actively seek new and innovative treatments, and increase understanding of not only RSD/CRPS, but all neuropathic chronic pain diseases. RSD is too often misdiagnosed, sorely misunderstood, and still unrecognized to this day.
This disease‚ the most perplexing in its category, often creates emotional, financial, and physical devastation. On the McGill Pain Index, RSD/CRPS ranks among the most agonizing, debilitating experiences a body can go through.
Proceeds Go ToSupporting research, education, and community outreach for The Pain Center at the Keck School of Medicine at USC.
There is no cure. Someday we hope to change that.
